Market Leading Experience

  • Advised Axiata Group Berhad as Malaysian counsel on the acquisition of 66.03% equity interest in PT Link Net TBK (Link Net) where Link Net together with its subsidiaries, engage in, amongst others, telecommunication activities by cable, telecommunication operations, internet service providers, communication system services, network access point services, other multimedia services, for approximately MYR2.63 billion.
  • Advising on the merger of Celcom Axiata Berhad and Digi.com Berhad.
  • Advised Paramount Corporation Berhad on the disposal of its controlling interests in its K-12 education business (voted as the Best M&A Deal by The Edge Malaysia, 2020).
  • Advised Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad on the disposal of the stockbroking business of Alliance Investment Bank Berhad (AIBB) to Phillip Futures Sdn Bhd, and the disposal of the capital markets business of AIBB to Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad, in each case pursuant to business transfer schemes under the Financial Services Act, 2013.
  • Advised AIGF Advisors Pte Ltd as Malaysian counsel on the disposal of its stake in Jaya Grocer.
  • Advised Bridgetown 2 Holdings Limited as Malaysian counsel on its US$1.36 billion business combination with PropertyGuru Pte. Ltd.
  • Advised Apricus Global Pte. Ltd (Offeror) as Malaysian counsel on the voluntary conditional general offer for and on behalf of the Offeror to acquire all the issued and paid-up ordinary shares in the capital of Boardroom Limited.
  • Advised CapitaLand Limited as Malaysian counsel on its acquisition of the Ascendas-Singbridge group of companies where the deal was valued at S$11 billion.
